From industrial past to affordable future
Sampson Green in Ipswich was delivered for Legal and General Affordable Homes by BREE Construction, through its New Homes subsidiary Partner Construction, completing 88 homes between 2024 and 2025. Partner Construction Ltd acted as principal contractor, transforming a former industrial site into a new affordable neighbourhood on the edge of the town.
The development was launched by Legal and General as one of its Suffolk affordable schemes, with an open day held to showcase the new homes on what had been a redundant industrial parcel.

Homes for shared ownership
Sampson Green provides a range of two, three and four-bedroom homes, with 71 offered for shared ownership to help buyers step onto the housing ladder. Sales material published for the scheme set out the family-sized accommodation and the shared-ownership routes available through Legal and General Affordable Homes.
By turning over an industrial site to housing, the development adds affordable homes in Ipswich while making productive use of brownfield land.
