An affordable scheme for Boston's eastern edge
Alcorn Green at Fishtoft, on the eastern edge of Boston, Lincolnshire, brought 42 affordable homes for Platform Housing Group, delivered by BREE Construction, then operating as Partner Construction. The scheme formed part of Platform's wider affordable-rented programme across the borough, adding family housing in a part of Lincolnshire where demand for affordable rent has remained consistently high.
Boston Borough Council listed Alcorn Green among its current and recent developments, with homes brought forward as affordable rent. The scheme sat alongside other Platform schemes in the town, including the Broadfield Lane programme, forming part of a coordinated effort to grow the borough's affordable housing supply.

Delivery and homeownership
The development was carried through to completion as part of Platform's delivery pipeline, with homes coming forward from the early 2020s. Platform Home Ownership also offers homes at Alcorn Green, reflecting the mix of tenures the housing association provides across the region.
Alcorn Green was a compact but meaningful addition to local supply, anchored firmly within the borough's affordable-rented pipeline. For a community where affordable family homes are in short supply, the scheme provided secure, modern housing close to existing services, schools and the wider amenities of Boston.
